One of the four majors, a win at the Masters is arguably the pinnacle of any golfer’s career. Held annually at the Augusta National Golf Club, the Masters is played at the start of April, making it the first major of the year. The prestige and prize money on offer ensures that the top professionals all look for their invitation to the event, invitations based on past performance as well as world ranking. The Master is also famous amongst golfing events for the awarding of green jackets to the champions, a jacket that also ensures that they receive an invite to the Champions Dinner, as well as future invites to the event. Although Tiger Woods has accumulated four Masters Jackets in his career he is currently only tied second in the overall winners’ leader board, alongside Arnold Palmer. Tiger Woods still though trails Jack Nicklaus by two titles.
